Bradley Drew

Senior Managing Director

Brad Drew is a Senior Managing Director at PACE Claims Services, LLC, based in Trenton, NJ.

For nearly 30 years, Mr. Drew has supported clients facing significant challenges with mass tort liabilities. He develops and provides asbestos business intelligence to defendants, insurers, reinsurers and other firms investing in long-tail liabilities along with managing the world-class PACE mass tort claims handling and administration facility. Mr. Drew has accumulated expert and fact witness testimony experience through both deposition and trial.

Kip Makuc

Senior Managing Director

Kip Makuc is a Senior Managing Director in the Washington, DC office of PACE Claims Services, LLC and the leader of the mass tort liability estimation and insurance teams.

Mr. Makuc has significant experience providing accounting, financial, and litigation support services to clients involved in mass torts, particularly asbestos bodily injury claims.  Since 1995, Mr. Makuc has assisted policyholders, insurers, reinsurers, financial institutions, bankruptcy trusts, and their legal counsel on a variety of asbestos, environmental, and other product liability and insurance matters, including claim file reviews, claim data analysis, document production reviews, claim categorization, insurance and reinsurance recovery, valuation, future liability estimation, coverage analysis and disputes, bankruptcy analyses, and claim cost allocation and insurer billing.

Mr. Makuc has prepared expert reports and testified on behalf of both insurers and policyholders on claim data analytics, insurance claim valuation, and allocation matters.  For a number of publicly traded and privately held companies, he estimates toxic tort liability for financial reserving purposes.

Jim Tanella

Senior Managing Director

Jim Tanella is a Senior Managing Director in the Hamilton, NJ office of PACE Claims Services, LLC and the leader of the mass tort claim administration practice.

Mr. Tanella has been involved in some of the most significant and complex litigations in US history.  He has worked on a variety of mass tort liability matters including asbestos bodily injury and property damage, silica, tobacco, breast implants and World Trade Center claims.  Mr. Tanella’s experience also includes a range of projects relating to environmental matters and information technology / management, including electronic discovery.

Mr. Tanella’s experience is primarily in the areas of claim processing and analysis, information management, technology and insurance.  For more than 33 years, Mr. Tanella has worked extensively in mass tort claims management, supervising teams that provide services ranging from of data collection, processing, reporting and analysis to due diligence reviews and claim audits.

Carrie Reynolds

Managing Director

Carrie Reynolds is a Managing Director of PACE Claims Services, LLC based in
Hamilton, NJ.
Since joining the firm in 1997, Ms. Reynolds has extensive experience working on products liability matters, including asbestos. In particular, she assists in providing outsourced claims management services to defendants, insurers and their outside counsel. Ms. Reynolds leads the claims management operational functions of PACE, including new complaint filings capture, resolution processing and the customer service process. Additionally, she currently serves as the accountmanager for a number of asbestos defendants, working as a liaison between all functional areas of PACE and the client personnel and their defense team. Ms. Reynolds is responsible for all aspects of client service and leads the account management function.

Joe Genova

Managing Director

Joe Genova is a Managing Director at PACE Claims Services.  Based in Hamilton, New Jersey.

Joe has been with the firm since February of 2015.  Joe currently manages asbestos personal injury claims for one of our clients on a national basis. Joe also serves as an integral part of their management team for over 20 years. He has negotiated thousands of cases directly with plaintiff counsel around the country during this time.

Other responsibilities include defense counsel invoice review for some of our clients and participation in claims audits.  Prior to Joe’s role with PACE, he worked for the Princeton Claims Services.  While Joe was employed at the Princeton Claims Services, he managed asbestos personal injury claims for several defendants on a national basis. He was closely involved in all aspects of claims management, including strategic planning, budgeting and future projections for clients.

Jennifer Holgado

Managing Director

Jennifer Holgado is a Managing Director and the Chief Financial Officer of PACE Claims Services LLC, based in Hamilton, NJ.

Ms. Holgado has close to 25 years of experience assisting with claims management, financial analysis, reporting, insurance allocation and consulting services to both policy holders and insurers in mass tort litigations, specifically asbestos and pharmaceuticals.   Ms. Holgado leads the finance, accounting and reporting functions of our outsourced claims management service offering including financial reporting and analyses, cash receipts and disbursements processing, insurance receivable monitoring, financial and banking activities, tax filings including 1099s and overall project management support providing clients with industry expertise and business intelligence reporting.
